From classic Texas Hold'em to Omaha Hi-Lo, kingg999 offers a complete online poker experience — 24/7 cash games, weekly tournaments with RM5,000 in prizes, and exclusive VIP tables. Deposits are easy via Touch 'n Go, DuitNow, or FPX.
Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned player, kingg999 has tables and stakes to suit every level.
The most popular poker variant in the world — and at kingg999. Each player receives two hole cards and shares five community cards. Easy to learn, difficult to master — that's why it remains the game of choice for players in Malaysia.
In Omaha, each player receives four hole cards and must use exactly two of them. The Hi-Lo variant splits the pot between the highest and lowest hands, adding more action and the chance to scoop both sides every round.
Also known as 6+ Hold'em, this variant uses a stripped deck with all 2–5 cards removed. The action is faster, the pots are bigger, and strong hands come up more often. It's the perfect choice when you're after a more intense poker session.
An exclusive kingg999 table for Gold and Diamond VIP members. Higher betting limits, limited seating, and a more premium atmosphere. Every hand is played with more serious players and bigger pots.
A mini tournament that kicks off as soon as all seats are filled. Perfect for players who want the tournament experience without waiting for a fixed schedule. Jump in, play, and wrap up in an hour or less at kingg999.
Before Texas Hold'em took over, Seven Card Stud was the most popular poker variant around. There are no community cards — each player works with their own seven cards. It's a game that puts your memory and ability to read opponents to the test.
From daily tournaments with low buy-ins to high-stakes weekly events — there's something for players at every level.
Note: The tournament prizes above represent the minimum guaranteed prize pool by kingg999. If the number of participants exceeds the target, the prize pool increases proportionally. Check the tournament page on the platform for the latest prize amounts before each tournament begins.
Get these fundamentals down before you take a seat at a kingg999 poker table. Knowing the value of every hand is the first step toward winning.
A, K, Q, J, 10 of the same suit. The best hand in poker.
Five consecutive cards of the same suit. Example: 5-6-7-8-9 all ♠.
Four cards of the same rank. Example: four Aces or four Kings.
Three cards of the same value plus a pair. Example: three Kings and two Queens.
Five cards of the same suit, not necessarily in sequence.
Five consecutive cards of mixed suits. Example: 7-8-9-10-J in different suits.
Three cards of the same rank. Example: three Jacks across three different suits.
Two different pairs. Example: a pair of Aces and a pair of Kings.
Two cards of the same value. The most commonly occurring hand in the game.
No combination — hand value is determined by the highest card.
Poker isn't just luck — it's a game of skill. Discover the strategies used by winning players at kingg999.
The most common mistake new players make is playing too many hands. At kingg999, the discipline to fold weak hands is the first skill you need to develop — and there is nothing to be ashamed of in doing so.
Playing in late position (close to the dealer button) gives you a significant edge because you get to see your opponents act first. Beginners often overlook this — don't make the same mistake.
Never sit at a high-stakes table without an adequate bankroll. As a general rule, your bankroll should be at least 20x the maximum buy-in of the table you choose at kingg999.
"Tilt" is a state where players make emotional decisions after a big loss. Learn to recognise the signs and step away from the table when you start feeling the pressure.
Pot odds are the ratio between the size of the pot and the cost of your call. When the pot odds are better than your probability of winning, calling is the mathematically correct decision — even if your hand isn't strong at that moment.
Players who are consistent in their betting patterns are easy to read. Take note of whether your opponents always bet big with strong hands or tend to slow-play them — that information is worth its weight at the kingg999 tables.
A bluff is most effective when you still have a chance to win even if your opponent calls. Semi-bluffing with a flush draw or straight draw gives you two ways to win — either by making the hand or having the bluff succeed.
If your opponents know you always bet big with strong hands, they'll fold without a second thought. Mix it up — slow-play a strong hand occasionally and bet small with a weak one. Keeping your opponents guessing is one of your most powerful weapons.
Every decision at the poker table can be evaluated from an EV perspective. A play with positive EV should be made even if you lose in the short run — this is the foundation of consistently profitable poker.
Advanced players think in terms of "ranges" — not just a single hand. Keep your betting range balanced between strong hands and bluffs so opponents can't easily exploit you over the long run.
Unlike balanced play, exploitation is about adapting your strategy to target a specific opponent's weakness. If an opponent folds too often against a 3-bet, 3-bet them more frequently — you don't need a strong hand to do it.
The best poker players always review their hands after a session. kingg999 keeps a record of your hand history — use that data to spot where you made the wrong call and sharpen your decision-making going forward.
Poker tournaments require a different strategy depending on your stack size relative to your opponents and the blind level. A short stack calls for a push-or-fold approach, while a big stack lets you apply more pressure and take speculative lines.
The "bubble" phase of a tournament is the most critical moment. Players who are too afraid of busting on the bubble often fold incorrectly and miss huge opportunities to double their stack. Use your opponents' fear to accumulate chips.
At the final table of a kingg999 tournament, ICM (Independent Chip Model) becomes a critical factor. The real value of your chips shifts depending on the payout gaps between finishing positions — a decision that's correct in chip terms can actually be wrong from an ICM standpoint.
The faster the blinds escalate in a kingg999 tournament, the more aggressively you need to play to keep your stack competitive. Don't wait for premium hands when the blinds are already eating through 20% of your stack each round.
There's something fundamentally different about poker compared to other casino games. In baccarat or slots, you're playing against the house — the odds are always in the platform's favour. In poker, you're playing against other players. Skill, strategy, discipline, and the ability to read your opponents determine who comes out ahead in the long run. That's why kingg999 investing seriously in building a truly competitive and fair poker platform for Malaysian players.
Malaysia's poker community has grown rapidly in recent years. More young players are beginning to view poker as a skill that can be learned and mastered — not just a game of luck. With platforms like kingg999, Malaysian players can now sharpen their skills at 24-hour cash game tables and challenge themselves in weekly tournaments without ever setting foot in a physical casino.
If you're just getting into poker, Texas Hold'em is the perfect starting point. The rules can be picked up in about 15 minutes, but the strategy behind the game can take years to truly master. At kingg999, Texas Hold'em tables are available across a wide range of stakes — from RM0.10/RM0.20 for beginners to RM50/RM100 for more seasoned players.
What makes Texas Hold'em at kingg999 stand out is the consistently healthy player pool at any hour. Unlike smaller platforms that often struggle to fill tables in the early morning or late at night, kingg999 has an active community of players from across Malaysia — so you rarely have to wait long for a seat. That's a big deal for anyone who likes to play on their own schedule.
If there's one event that gets talked about most in the kingg999 poker community, it's the Saturday Night Special. Every Saturday at 9 PM, kingg999 hosts a Texas Hold'em tournament with a RM5,000 prize pool and a buy-in of just RM30. The value on offer is exceptional — first place takes home over RM1,500, and all top 20 finishers walk away in the money.
What makes the Saturday Night Special stand out is more than just the prize pool. It's a genuine poker experience with hundreds of participants, a well-structured blind schedule, and enough time for deep strategy to unfold. Unlike Sit & Go games that often move too quickly, this tournament gives players the room to truly showcase their skills. For anyone serious about poker in Malaysia, this is one weekly event you don't want to miss.

Kingg999 believes poker should be played as entertainment and an intellectual challenge, not as a primary source of income or a way to resolve financial difficulties. The platform provides responsible gaming tools such as daily deposit limits, loss limits, and session time limits that you can set yourself in your account settings. If you feel that your playing is becoming a problem, please read the section Responsible Gaming us for assistance.
In poker, solid bankroll management is the foundation of responsible play. Never sit at a table with money you cannot afford to lose. Set session limits — whether time-based or loss-based — and stick to them without exception. The players who succeed in poker over the long run are not the biggest risk-takers; they are the ones most disciplined in managing their money and their decisions.
